Circling the Drain: UK – Golfers charged for self defense

Highlighting the difference between Citizens and Subjects, we have a story from the Telegraph.

Short version – golfers on the links about to tee off when beset upon by armed thugs attempting to steal clubs from them.  Golfers logically respond by beating thugs with said clubs.  Everybody goes to jail.
