I wish people would use their brains, do a little research, rather than listen to all the vitriol and venom spewed back and forth between both parties. This bill is not the death knell of democracy that the republicans would have us believe. Nor is it the best thing to ever come out of congress that the democrats want us to believe. America is NOT going to the dogs. Biggest problem was the republicans themselves! They radicalized to the point of being ridiculous without countering with a health reform plan of their own. They were too bent on tearing down the other, rather than building up from their own ranks. They could have come up with a great plan if only they had tried. Instead they poured their energies into being obstructionists and this is the result. What a pity.
Srsly? Just what flavor is that Kool Aid anyway – I’ve always wondered.
I do agree that this bill is NOT the end of our Republic. We are not going to lay down and quit. We will take it back.
This is just the beginning of the fight.
Do something positive, for crying out loud!!!! All you want to do is tear down, demonize, obstruct! What do you mean “take it back?” It is not “us” vs. “them,” nor is it “ours” vs. “yours.” You’ve reduced this to nothing more than a sporting event if you persist with that thinking. Republicans MUST use their brains rather than their brawn if they are serious about building a stronger America. It’s not even about republican vs. democrat… that kind of thinking is just too small. Think bigger than that, and more creatively about how to solve problems. No one needs Kool Aid for that!…

We are all less Free because of the abomination of so-called health care reform. It reforms nothing, it will force the deterioration of our health care, and it consolidates power in the hands of government. It was cobbled together, unseen and unread, bought and paid for with bribe money stolen from the People, passed with a vote to ‘not vote’ in defiance of the Constitution. It is shameful!
At no point in history in this country, until now, has there ever been a law to compel the purchase of a good or service. Let alone from the entity that stole the entire industry producing the product it now forces you buy.
If it’s such a spectacular deal, why did those that passed it also exempt themselves from it? Our employees forget their place!
I don’t hold to party lines; Republican party vs. Democrat party is a facade. I hold to ideals such as Conservative (limited) government, a Free people, and Free Enterprise. So did the Founders.
